week 14

Week 14.
It seems that the time flow so quickly and by the time goes by, we were already in week fourteen. Integrating technology into classroom instruction means more than teaching basic computer skills and software programs in a separate computer class. Effective technology integration must happen across the curriculum which deepen and enhance the learning process. In addition, it must support four key components of learning which is active engagement, participation in groups, frequent interaction and feedback, and connection to real-world experts. Effective technology integration is achieved when the use of technology is routine and transparent and when technology supports curricular goals.
For this week, we were informed that, we will be seating for a test that carry 40% of the overall mark. There will be 4 essay questions and we need to answer all of the question. Puan Foziah did tell us to read in the Susan Halliwell's book and focused on the video editing and its application in classroom. Its really helped us to study and I would like to thank her for her tips. To be able to answer it, I need to prepare myself thoroughly because, there are lots to be covered.
I hope i could do the best for my test so that i could show my understanding to the lesson that have been taught by my lecturer. Till then, bye from me...hope to see you all again...chaoz....

week 13

Welcome to week 13!Gosh..It is time for us to submit our assignments. I had a tough time to complete my assignments yet I have learnt a lot. Although, I have not become a professional photo and video editor still I am so happy that I have better knowledge about it compare to others out there who does not has any understanding about it. Well, practice make perfect as I might be a professional in editing photos and videos in future. Furthermore, there were no lesson today; we were patching up last bit of our assignments. Pn Fauziah was walking around helping and giving opinion on our work.
It is almost an end to the entire lesson. However, there is one more last week to go. YAHOO!! I hope I could pertain whatever I have learnt as my teaching aids in my future.

week 12

We are in the 12th week of resources class now. Time is running so fast! Pn Fauziah has introduced to us something new which is E-book. I have heard about it though I have no idea on how an E-book looks like. It sounded pretty interesting when Pn Fauziah briefly explained about E-book. Furthermore, she also showed us an example of E-book. An E-book refers to electronic books which can only be read through electronic devices. In addition, she mentioned to us that E-book is vital to use in class and it ought to consists of :
 Storyline that shows the conflict, climax and resolution
 Setting
 Theme
 Characterization
 Sound effects
 Clear and quality pictures

Therefore, I have trust that E-book can be tempting to children in primary level. I and my partner, Chin Hui Chiat have decided to create an E-book based on Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt love story. We have applied our knowledge that we gained in our previous lesson which is photo editing into this assignment.
Last but not least, I hope that we could make a good teamwork to provide a fine job. I am very thankful to Pn Fauziah for giving us trendy of beneficial inputs. Alright, that is all for this week. Adiozz..

week 11

Welcome to week 11. This week is about photo editing. What is photo editing? Actually photo editing is about how you edit a original picture to be more attractive and nice. For todays lesson, Mdm Foziah was briefing us about the picture editing and let us to see some edited pictures that created by her own friend. It was quite interesting and nice to look at those pictures.
For our task today, we have to take an original photo of our own and edit it using photo bucket. Photobucket is an image hosting, video hosting, slideshow creation and photo sharing website. Photobucket is usually used for personal photographic albums, remote storage of avatars displayed on internet forums, and storage of videos. Users may keep their albums private, allow password-protected guest access, or open them to the public. These are the photos that were edited by my own...look at it and have fun.....

week 10

It is week 10,still in progress with Module 2. Many of us ,did not complete the task. Thank god! Pn Foziah gave us extra time for us to complete our module. I am happy because I am better in editing photos now. Moreover, now I am able to create posters, birthday cards, invitation cards and many more. A new talent in me! I am pleased because without Pn Fauziah I would not have the opportunity to learn about this functional software. Thank you, Pn Foziah! Nevertheless, I believe that photo editing skill would be definitely helpful for me to create a proper teaching aid. Thus we can see that, lots of work required yet I trust that it is worth to do. week 9

Before I start off with this week’s reflection, I would wish all my Muslim friends and Pn Foziah ‘Eid Mubarak’ and expect all of you had a great day. Finally, I have done with my module 3, lesson plans and Teaching Aids yet this is not the end. It is time for our Module 2. YES, another thick module! However I feel that Module 2 would be more exciting than the previous module as it is about photo editing. This Module includes software such as Photobucket, Photoscape, Microsoft paint, ACD see, Adobe Photoshop CS3 and many. The mission of this module is to help us enhance our knowledge in photo editing which comprise Adjust color, Crop picture, Filter image, Insert frame, Adjust saturation and so on. Basically, it helps to provide an excellent quality pictures. Who doesn’t want to look appealing in pictures? Everyone wishes to look good. I could also apply this in my personal life. I end this for now because I am excited to explore and start my Module 2 task. Have a good day!

week 8

It is another good week of our class! Here comes another task and module. As week passes, there are more bits and pieces to be learnt. Module 3 was given to us together with some other tasks such as teaching aids and lesson plans. I have to complete as soon as possible since the time given is limited. Module 3 looks much simpler compare to Module 1. In addition, it is all about audio editing. Now, I have to put an extra effort to learn more about technology. At the present time, children are looking forward for out of the ordinary method of learning instead of reading books and looking at the blackboard. Therefore, I personally feel that knowing about technology could facilitate teaching and learning process. I presume that everyone is looking further to find out more. That is all for this week.
